PRN Children's Respite Workers for Kids Konnections Program
Children's Respite Workers are needed to work one-on-one in a home-like setting
with children 3 to 18 years old. Considered applicants must be at least 21 years old,
have reliable transportation, a valid Kansas driver’s license with good driving record
and valid auto insurance. Applicants must also have a GED or high school diploma
and at least two years of paid experience in the Human Services Field or two years of
college course work in the field of human services. Also acceptable is a combination
of both paid Human Services experience and college course work in the Human
Services field to the equivalent of two years. Flexible scheduling as position is PRN.

About The Kids Konnections Program:
*Kids Konnections is a place for youth diagnosed with emotional disorders to go when
they and their families need a short break. The youth will be in a safe, home-like
environment while staff watches over them, providing them with activities and structure.
*Staff work one-on-one with youth, providing a safe, positive and nurturing environment
*Staff become positive role models to at-risk youth
Full-Time Adult Case Manager Needed
A full-time Case Manager is needed to work with adults with severe and persistent
mental illness. Selected applicant will also provide some attendant care services as
needed. Involves flexible hours and travel within the county. Must have dependable
transportation with liability insurance, valid driver’s license with a good driving record
and be able to pass all pre-employment screens. Bachelor’s degree, four years of
experience in the field of human services or a combination of the two to the equivalent
of four years is required. Demonstrated familiarity with major forms of mental illness
including characteristics of severely and persistently mentally ill adults preferred.
